Humming to herself, she looks for a plate to put their snacks on, using her free hand to wave her wand at what looks to be a stack of clean dishes. A plate sails over to her easily enough, but she does nearly fumble the catch. Correcting herself before it drops to the floor, she puts the biscuits down on the plate and then holds it firmly with both hands as she brings it to the table.
Easing back into the chair, she pushes the plate toward him first while taking the milk. "Got in Hufflepuff, me. Got in trouble." The second part is relayed with an impish smile. "Got into Auror training, somehow convinced Moody I'm good for it.." She concentrates on her tea, taking care not to make a mess as she talks.
She looks up, passing the milk over before looking back down for a moment. "I was at the Quidditch Cup last year." The one that had Death Eaters crawling in it. Tonks looks back up then, eyebrows lifted and a mildly exasperated expression on her face. "And I've been asking why we're not doing anything about it ever since."
"Moods still has ears at the Ministry, I reckon. Because I got chewed out for insubordination..and he pops up with a letter from Dumbledore!" Imagine her surprise when her former Headmaster lets her in on the secret of this old place.
She wants to ask the same question in return. Not just out of polite curiosity, but the genuine feeling of it. But knowing what she knows now, of the fallout, she can't imagine it was easy for the man. So instead, Tonks asks another question. "Is it difficult? Being in this situation again? Seeing him again?"
